What we collect

When you register we collect your email address through our sign-in provider, Clerk, and the answers you give in the registration questionnaire. We keep the questionnaire answers against your verified account. Our own database does not store your email address; administrators read it from Clerk when they review a registration.

When you ask about a paid plan, the enquiry form collects your name, email address, firm, city, team size, expected requests a month and an optional note, and, for a developer plan, what you are building. You do not need an account to send it, and nothing else about you is kept with it.

When you use the connector from Claude or ChatGPT, the questions your agent sends to AEC Agent are regulation questions. Your drawing files and their contents are read by your own agent and are not uploaded to AEC Agent.

How we use it

We use your registration to decide whether to activate your membership, to give you access to the regulation libraries you were granted, and to contact you about the pilot. We use an enquiry only to reply to you about the plan you asked about. If usage measurement is switched on for the workspace, we record which workspace pages signed-in members open, so that we can see how the pilot is used. We do not record anything when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

Who processes it

Clerk handles sign-in and holds your account. Our hosting and database providers store the registration, enquiry and workspace records. The home page globe is drawn with Mapbox, which receives your browser address and the map tiles you view, as with any map embedded in a web page. We do not sell personal data.
